Ushuaia
Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world.
Ushuaia was named by early British missionaries using the name of the first inhabitants of the area (Yamana tribe). It is located on the eastern side (Argentinian side) of the island of Tierra del Fuego, and is situated on the Beagle Channel, first charted by the British ship HMS Beagle, under the command of Captain Robert FitzRoy, in 1833, during its maiden voyage surveying Tierra del Fuego.
