There isn't a straight line or corner to be found anywhere in the picturesque old Elizabethan houses in Stratford upon Avon

<br />
Shakespeare's daughter Susanna married Dr.John Hall and they lived at Hall's Croft. This ancient Mulberry tree was likely alive when Shakespeare himself walked the streets of Stratford. It is in poor shape now, but still alive.

<br />
Seeing this 'black' tulip (probably a Queen of the Night, which is a very dark purple) called to mind the famous tulip mania, the first recorded speculative investing bubble and stock market crash in 1636-7. So far no-one has succeeded in breeding a truly black tulip.

Probably Kwanzan cherry tree. I liked the huge pink double blossoms at the end of the thin twisted branch against the cloudy sky
