Dali's eggs

This image is from the top of the roof of the Salvador Dali museum in Girona, Spain. Dali liked to use eggs as symbols in some of his works of art; an example is given in the sketch accessed from the link below.

For those in a mood for the bizarre, other pictures from the Salvador Dali museum can be seen here, including a 1941 Cadillac that used to be owned by Al Capone, with a nude figure of Queen Esther on its hood, and one of Dali's bizarre little sketches: http://goo.gl/7QGPU8

 • Several 'B's and a loaf of bread

I'm going to catch up with an 'A' and a 'B', today. I'm pretty bad with this challenge....best I could do.

Two panels of a window make a 'B', so there are 4 'B's and there appears to be a 'B' in the statue's stomach, and maybe 2 or 3 lying on their side in the loaf of bread. The Teatre Museo Dali, in Girona, Spain.

I que es la veritat? (And what is the truth?) is the famous question that Pontius Pilate asked when cross-examining Jesus. The sentence occurs on the door of the west facade of La Sagrada Familia on the Portico de la Pasión (Passion facade) that is dedicated to the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. The white lettering is the emphasis of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi, who designed the door.

La Sagrada Familia (Church of the Holy Family) in Barcelona, Spain, was designed by Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). Although not yet finished, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gaudi took over the construction of the Sagrada Família in 1883; his distinct architectural and engineering style, combines Gothic and Art Nouveau styles. At his death in 1926 the Sagrada Familia was only around one quarter finished. Its construction has progressed slowly ever since and it passed the midpoint in 2010. The anticipated completion date is 2026, the centenary of Gaudí's death.
Even though still unfinished, the interior spaces are incredibly awe inspiring. The columns are lit by coloured light coming through the stained glass windows.

The cathedral is a unique synthesis of Gothic and Art Noveau architectural styles and the snakes and lizards are Gaudi's interpretation of the gargoyles that would have been placed on the exterior of Gothic cathedrals to drain water and expel evil spirits.
