After his swim in the ocean, my Portuguese Water Dog, Tacco, deigned to pose with the blooming foxgloves at St. John Point, Mayne Island, BC in the image taken by my friend on her iPhone. St. John Point is a new regional park on Mayne Island, made possible by the purchase of the 26 hectare site by local residents who raised $2.1 million for the cause.
