Moss-covered branches with lens flare, Vancouver, BC
I am fortunate to live across the street from 7 square km of natural forest in the middle of the city, which is a great place for dog walks. Whenever friends come for a dog walk they always exclaim over this area with beautiful moss-covered branches. Each time I go by, I think about angles to capture a photo of this area. Today the sun was out and the light was good, so I went back home and grabbed my camera and tripod. The light may have been a little too contrasty, so another day I would like to try this area with a high cloud cover, and maybe try a B/W conversion.
For a rare self portrait, plus some photos of some beautiful reflections in the forest ponds and another lens flare photo, see here: http://goo.gl/fcgRI. Critiques and comments on these additional photos will be appreciated!
