Duntulm Castle
Sheep graze near the ruins of Duntulm Castle, 14th C, Clan MacDonald of Sleat, which stands on a basalt promontory at the north end of the Trotternish Peninsula, Isle of Skye, Scotland. The beehive-shaped cairn on the left side of the ruins is to commemorate the MacArthurs, the hereditary pipers to the MacDonalds of the Isles during the 17th C who had a nearby piping school.
