Loch Fyne with Clyde puffer
Loch Fyne at low tide with rock weed (Ascophyllum nodosum), reflections and a resting gull. At the dock is a great example of a Clyde puffer, Eilean Eisdeal, the fictional Vital Spark, made famous in the short stories Neil Munro and three BBC TV series. The small flat-bottomed boats were a vital supply link around the west coast of Scotland from 1856 to 1939. Inveraray, Scotland.

on November 9, 2022Lovely view across the loch and around to the Vital Spark. Your gull eggs are more likely greater or lesser black back gull or herring gull as we rarely see Western in the UK. Pink legs / Black back - Greater Black-backed, Yellow legs / Black Back- Lesser black-backed, pink legs/grey back - herring gull.
