Portrait of an eagle hunter and his eagle #3, Western Mongolia
Check out his magnificent red fox fur coat. Fox and rabbits are the main prey hunted by the trained eagles, and both species are used for food to supplement their meagre diets in the winter, and for their fur as protection against the bitter weather. The fox fur hat with red silk and feathers (owl I think) at the crown is always part of their traditional attire when they are out with their eagles.
