Time to go
As the rising tide starts to cover the sedge grass meadows, a mother grizzly signals to her cub that it is time to return to the mainland where they have their den. Bear viewing in the estuary can only be done on a rising tide when there is enough water to navigate, but not so much that the meadows are covered. Khutzeymateen estuary, BC.
