Takamatsu and Kochi

Koi among the fall leaves and pine needles

In the late fall in the famous Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu, Japan the leaves and pine needles were falling onto the Fuyosho Pond and some koi were swimming near the surface in anticipation of being fed. I waited until I had a pleasing composition with a couple of koi in the middle of the leaves, one with its mouth open (best larger).
