River mists with crane
A red crowned crane flies above the mist covered Setsuri River at sunrise, Otowabashi, Hokkaido, Japan (best at the largest sizes).
In response to DycasStudios, I got to the bridge over the river (Otowabashi) before sunrise, anticipating that the cranes would start flying at sunrise, as they do every day in the winter. I was lucky with the mists, but the birds fly reliably so you just have to be ready for the right moment.

on January 5, 2017The early sunlight through the mist is wonderful, and of course getting the crane flying through makes it perfect.
In answer to your inquiry, I have activated the photo info on my site.
