Early morning on the Setsuri River
Some of the endangered red crowned cranes in Hokkaido fly to the Setsuri River to spend the night and one of the best places to see them is the Otowabashi (Otowa bridge) that crosses the river. You have to be there very early, before sunrise, since they fly away to feed in the local farmer's fields as soon as the sun comes up (best larger).
