Light and shadows
Sunrise projects the shadows of the forest leaves on the vermillion torii gates at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shinto shrine, Kyoto, Japan. As I walked up Inari Mountain before sunrise, I notice this effect and tried to capture it using a tripod and a wide angle lens. The brightness and shadows were amplified in post-processing to give an almost abstract effect.
