  • I composed this shot of a wrecked Greek ship off the coast of Kish Island in the Persian Gulf so it was juxtapositioned against the coral rocks on the shore at sunset. A tripod and a long exposure was used to smooth out the ripples ion the water.
  • Native man in traditional attire, Baghou Village, Kish Island, Iran. Kish Island is a coral island located in the Persian Gulf off the south coast of Iran. Although Kish Island is primarily a tourist destination these days, it has been settled for around 3000 years, and was known since ancient times as a good source of fresh ('sweet') water. The village of Bagou is populated by a few families of native Kish Islanders.
