Sniffing the breeze!
On a cold late fall day, a polar bear on the shores of Hudson Bay at Seal River, Manitoba raises his head to sniff the breeze. The bears have fasted all summer and In the fall they gather on the shores of the bay to wait for freeze up so they can get out on the ice to hunt for seals. (These are wild bears and were photographed out on foot with no protective barriers).
