Indian water buffalo with asymmetrical horns, Champaner, Gujarat, India
This water buffalo was on a walk down a track all by itself with no sign of an owner or minder. From the size of the horns it appeared fairly old, and one horn was bent at an odd angle.
Other photos from the area, including one of proud fathers and their completely disinterested children, can be seen here http://goo.gl/8DFMtw

on November 8, 2013Nice capture. The ears on water buffalo always look to me like they're in the wrong place...too low on the head.
