Fat harbour seal draped over a small rock
This well-fed seal was lying in the sun in the Mussel Creek estuary in the Fjordland Conservancy of mid-coast British Columbia. There was only a small piece of rock protruding from the water and the seal had done her best to arrange herself on top of the rock.

on October 11, 2013Fabulous capture; love this! When we were in the Bandon area, I watched several seals having a lot of trouble settling themselves on the rocks they had selected. They would keep sliding off.
