Do you hear a humming?
I wanted a photo of the picturesque Callanish I standing stones illuminated by the rising sun, not so easy in the rainy Outer Hebrides. This is my favorite shot of the stones, where I stopped down the aperture to get a star burst hitting the edge of the tallest stone. Isle of Lewis, Scotland.

3 weeks agoBeautiful capture Terry - must have been awesome to experience seeing the sun come up over the mountains and 'burst' onto the scene with the standing stones.

3 weeks agoI really like this one too--gives the feeling of coming to the standing stones at sunrise for some ritual or celebration, even centuries ago!

BTW, regarding your comment about the ladies on the Cool Globe NOT having eyes...I have no idea but it was the first thing I noticed upon seeing that particular globe (I inadvertently posted this paragraph on Regina's photo).
