Old and new
The hillside with the 100 AD broch, Dun Carloway, overlooked sheep country and the town of Doune. Intermingled with the new houses it was fascinating to see the old remains of black houses and crofts, and old drystone walls around fields dating back hundreds of years. Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland.
