On a recent trip to Lake Clark National Park, I was on the beach at sunrise and I noticed a group of photographers out on the mud flats at low tide, silhouetted against a fog bank. A grizzly cub, catching some nice rim light, was passing very near to them. Several of them at the left were turned to watch the mother grizzly who had just passed by and seemed to be unaware that the cub was so close. Cook Inlet, Alaska.
Linda, they were photographing the mom and cub coming along the beach and cub was lagging a bit behind. The mother passed them at a safe distance and the cub was trying to catch up and got a bit close to the people. The mom, the cub and the photographers were all pretty chill.

on August 24, 2021This is a spectacular image Terry! It's hard to imagine that the group of photographers were so unaware of the nearby Mother & Baby Grizzly. Outstanding shot of the people in silhouette, and Baby too of course.
