Tabby cat
A friendly green-eyed tabby cat posed for me on a interesting tabby-coloured marbled rock at the Green Baker Lodge, Patagonia, Chile. I know they say that one should try to shoot animals from below, but this was such an interesting rock with its cat-like markings that I felt the shot was better taken looking down.

on March 3, 2021You could not have asked for a better portrait set up. The green grass and those amazing green eyes and the repetition of the cats colors in the stone and wood. Excellent capture.

on March 2, 2021Very pretty kitty! I like the rock too--good choice of pov.
When I was birding out at San Jacinto Wildlife Area a couple of days ago, out in the middle of nowhere, I suddenly saw a completely black cat--very unexpected. When he saw me, he zipped into the bushes. Must be a feral cat from somewhere? I let my imagination pretend it was a black panther stalking the wild lands! ;-)
