A cautious mother grizzly bear leads her three spring cubs off the beach to the safety of the nearby trees early one morning on the shores of Cook Inlet, Alaska.
Yes, shot from a distance as the mother was quite concerned with keeping her cubs safe. It was low tide and there were clams on the beach so she may have been teaching them about a new food source.
