Celtic crosss
A beautiful large Celtic cross caught my eye in the cemetery of the Church of the Holy Rude, Stirling, Scotland. The first Celtic crosses date back to the 9th century, and one of the earliest examples was from Iona abbey off the West Coast of Scotland.

on October 28, 2022Lovely composition, looks a well weathered Celtic Cross, I can't see any ornate decoration which is quite unusual, but if it's heavily weather-worn it's probably needs much close examination than I can see in the photo. Great shot!
