Forest path to shrine
A beautiful path leads uphill through the forest to the Kami Ichinomiya Oawa Jinja Shinto Shrine, Kamiyama, Shikoku Island, Japan. The shrine is dedicated to the deity of grain, and Awa millet (foxtail millet, Setaria italica) is said to have originated in this area where people have been living for centuries growing the ancient grain.
