on June 13, 2021Terrific shot of these two heading back for the cover of the forest. They do look like they've both had some run-ins with fences or perhaps vehicles - if those are scars across both their flanks. Not as easy life, I'm thinking....

on June 13, 2021It makes me wonder if the fences are designed to keep the deer out, or if they are just property lines. Hopefully they will be safe on their way to the distant forests. I know most deer like to have the protection of trees nearby, despite their love of meadows for grazing.
