Corran Point Lighthouse
The Corran Point Lighthouse was built in 1860 to help vessels navigate the Loch Linnhe Narrows. It was one of the first lighthouses in Great Britain to be automated in 1898. Lochaber, Scottish Highlands. Sheep are grazing in the meadow behind the lighthouse.
Thanks to Kevin for the interesting additional info.

on December 22, 2022This is such a lovely and unique looking lighthouse. I love it, and the whole setting with the sheep grazing in the background. Thanks for your good wishes, it's going to be difficult to stay warm with the coming freeze. I just hope the weather people are correct in their forecasts and the temps will start climbing in a few days.
