Chilko Lake grizzlies
Last fall I went to Chilko Lake during the fall salmon run to photograph the grizzly bears that congregate there. Here a mother grizzly and her older cub move along on the lakeshore with a background of fall leaves. As it happened, I was there at the same time that they were starting to film Season 8 of the 'Alone' series, which rather over-dramatized the danger from the local grizzlies.
