Corran Ferry
The Corran Ferry (MV Corran, 2001) takes cars and foot passengers on the 5 min trip from Nether Lochaber to Ardgour across the Loch Linnhe narrows, Scotland. There has been some kind of a ferry here for centuries and it lies on an ancient drove route for bringing cattle to market. It is one of few remaining scheduled mainland vehicle ferries in Scotland, saving an hour-long drive.

on December 22, 2022Hmmm...5 minutes, one hour...which should we choose! ;-) Great shot of the ferry in action--it looks like it just transports a few cars at a time.
