What is it?

I pulled a 'volunteer' potato plant out of the strawberry batch in my garden and attached to the roots was this fun little creature. I cleaned it up and put it into a planter to photograph. I think it looks like a resting moose. What do you think it looks like?

P.S., no way I could eat it.

I love this! My first thought was either a moose or a baby elk. What a fantastic find!

What an amazing little creature to have occurred naturally in the garden! When I first saw it, moose came to mind.
