Burying the remains
You've seen domestic cats trying to 'bury' food that they don't like by going through the motions of trying to scrape dirt over it. I watched with amusement as the mother puma spent several minutes trying to bury the remains of her guanaco carcass, which after 3+ days must have been getting pretty stinky!
