Almost nothing left
Mother puma and one of her three kittens at the picked over remains of her guanaco carcass at nightfall, Lago Sarmiento, Patagonia. The mother puma only called her kittens out from their den as it was getting dark, and, while it was wonderful to see them, it did make for challenging photography requiring a tripod, big lens with teleconverter and high ISO. The colours started to wash out as it became dark, and I feel the images looked more realistic if I converted them to B&W.

God's Child
on April 11, 2019Each time you have posted a photo of these pumas, I've thought about the brand of tennis shoes. I'm wondering if the animals were the inspiration for the brand. They sure know how to mercilessly devour their prey!
