Find the rheas
With the spectacular granite peaks of the Torres del Paine in the background, it is easy to overlook the small flock of rheas (Darwin's rhea, Rhea pennate) in the foreground (best larger). With their excellent cryptic colouration these large flightless birds blend in so well with the fall grasses and bushes on the pampas.

on April 19, 2019They do blend in very well but you, nonetheless, managed to get a very sharp capture of them...and what an amazing backdrop for the shot!

on April 18, 2019The mountains are just so stunning that that's the area that my eyes were drawn to first. I do see the Rheas. I like Wayne's idea for a camouflage gallery.
God's Child
on April 18, 2019I see the rheas, although they are almost camouflaged! Wonderful contrasting scenes in this one photo, too!
