Oboke gorge
A somewhat inaccessible tourist spot on Shikoku Island is the Oboke gorge, a steep sided gorge with deep green water and small rapids on the Yoshino River near its junction with the Iya Valley where it cuts is way through the Shikoku Mountains. Tour boats, seen here, take visitors down the picturesque gorge.
