Islands of lupines
Remote Northern Patagonia, accessed by the famous 1240 km gravel road Carretera Austral, is an area of snow and ice-covered mountains, waterfalls, lakes and rivers. in the spring the rivers and meadows are crowded with amazing displays of blooming lupines. In this long exposure image, lupines crowd the shores and river islands in the Tres Lagos area along the Rio el Canal, with a branch of the river flowing though the blooms.
