Just right
The most popular outdoor spa in Iceland is the Blue Lagoon, which is actually man-made. It uses mineral-rich water from the nearby geothermal power plants where superheated water from far underground is used to run turbines that generate electricity. The milky blue shade colour comes from the water's high silica content and the temperature is just right around 38oC (100oF)

on October 10, 2020The color is very pretty and does look a bit milky, but I can imagine that the 100 degree temp would be extremely soothing to my old bones. This is an excellent image Terry. Love it!

on October 10, 2020Interesting color in the water--after seeing all those places with steam coming up and temps you could boil and egg in, I'd want to be sure they can control the water temps! If this is the most popular outdoor spa, I guess they've figured that out! ;-)
