Grundtvigskirken at sunset
Grundtvigskirken peak at sunset, Renland, Scoresby Sund, East Greenland. The mountain is a 1,977 meter high rock pinnacle with a 1000 meter steep overhanging rock wall. Because of its similar appearance, it is named for the Grundtvigs kirche (church) in Copenhagen. The first recorded climb was in 1989, and the big wall was climbed in 2010 using a 40 pitch route with ratings up to 7a+ (5.12a in the USA).
