A matter of scale
In the remote waters of Hall Bredning, it was rare to see another ship, but I spied a speck off a large iceberg that turned out to be the 150 foot MS Freya, a former Coast Guard and then research vessel, coverted to an expediton ship. The icefields of Jameson Land can be seen in the background and the ice-free foreshore adds a touch of colour to the image. A small growler is in the foreground. Scoresby Sund, East Greenland.
