Checking out the shoreline
An adult male polar bear (Ursus maritimus) walks through washed up seaweed and snow on the shores of Hudson Bay, Churchill, Manitoba. Some shorefast ice has formed but there is not enough ice further out to start the seal hunting season for the polar bears.
Marc, three of us were photographing from a 4WD SUV, either through the open windows or standing outside it by the open door. None of us like Tundra buggies because it is impossible to get the close-up low POVs that is possible to get when you're close to the ground.

Are you photographing from a truck or tundra buggy?
