Ice needles - Terry Allen
Ice needles growing in a small pond formed from snow melt in the lichen-covered rocky terrain, NE Milne Land, Scoresby Sund, East Greenland. I composed the shot to show a diagonal line of ice needles leading away from some fall grasses.
This is the first shot from a new Greenland location, a shore trip to NE Milne Land.
