River's end

View of Tokushima city from Mount Bizan, Shikoku Island, Japan. The larger river at the top, spanned by two bridges, is the Yoshino River, exiting into Wakayama Bay. The upper reaches of the river and its tributaries were featured in recent posts. The green hill in the middle of the city is the site of the ruins of the 16th C Tokushima Castle, dismantled during the Meiji era. The Yoshino River/Shikoku Range series ends here.
