Bergy bits
A zodiac approaches one of several icebergs originating from the Eielson Gletscher at the head of Rypefjord, Scoresby Sund, East Greenland. The rather messy looking iceberg shows signs of its glacial history.

on April 14, 2020It's nice to have the Zodiac next to the Bergy as it shows the truly large size of he bit. I also love the straitions of soil and blue ice caught in the structure.

on April 14, 2020Seeing the zodiac next to the iceberg really shows how huge this "bergy bit" really is! I suppose that an expert can "read" the signs of its glacial history--a transitory historical record, for sure.
God's Child
on April 14, 2020The person in the photo really adds perspective to the scale of the iceberg!
