on December 4, 2017This is a puzzle--from the comments, everyone is guessing that this is an old portrait of the man, but at 4x, it shows clearly that it is of him in the same clothes, same place, same pose, except instead of his hand on his knee, he is holding the picture. Was this done while you were there??

on December 3, 2017I was thinking the same thing as Linda about Polaroid shots being very dated. But perhaps that indicates that the old man has valued that picture of himself for many years, and kept it safe.
