Wishing for spring
We're having an exceptionally cold, icy, snowy spell of weather in Vancouver that shows no sign of ending any time soon, so I wanted to post a picture that reminded me of warmer days. This photo of a cheerful field of dandelions was taken last spring by the harbour in Trout River, Newfoundland. When I took the photo, I tried to take particular care to get of good depth of field so the flowers were in focus from foreground to background (best larger)

on January 8, 2017Oh my yes!!! I'm certainly wishing for Spring these last few days of cold weather. I know it's no where as brutally cold as Vancouver, but for us it's pretty miserable. Lovely shot of this field of neat yellow flowers.
