Folk art pig in the style of Frida Kahlo
A whimsical ceramic pig on display. Note the poem by Frida Khalo (famous Mexican folk artist) in the flower on on its shoulder. The famous poem, one of the many she wrote during her volatile marriage to fellow artist Diego Rivera, is in Spanish and reads: "Jamás en toda la vida, olvidaré tu presencia. Me acogiste destrozada y me devolviste íntegra, entera." Translation to English: "Never in all my life will I forget your presence. You welcomed my destroyed self and restored me full whole." Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico.
