Land-locked fjord
A large 70 passenger tour boat in the Western Brook Pond fjord is diminished by the 600 m rocky cliffs, Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. The boats were hauled in overland in winter (there are no roads into the fjord) over an ice road on the frozen land, and other parts were flown in; with typical Newfoundlander ingenuity everything was and assembled on-site (best larger).
Note to Byron: this is not a river, it is a land-locked lake carved out by glaciers millions of year ago.
