Muddy pig
Muddy wild Bornean bearded pig (Sus barbarous) under a feeding station, Tanjung Puting National Park, Kalimantan. This shot clearly shows the 'beard' that gives the pig its name. It enjoys eating fruit dropped to the jungle floor by primates and it's a threatened species.
Linda, threatened due to loss of habitat and hunting.

on October 31, 2017Nice close-up of this piggy. If it is anything like the Javelina in Arizona, it has a rather strong scent.

on October 31, 2017Those guys are just so ugly that they are almost cute. Great shot of the bearded guy. I wonder if the species is threatened because of the harvest of them for food, or some other environmental impact. Great shot!
