Pair of muskox
Two muskox in the snow in winter, living in a compound on the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Quiviut, the underhair of the muskox, is one of the warmest and most luxurious fibers in the world. It is 8 times warmer than wool and softer than cashmere. It keeps the muskox warm through the long bitter winters up north.
