Kinkaku-ji with red maples
A less traditional view of the golden pavilion from the rear, screened by a stand of Japanese maples with their fall red leaves. A group of school boys in their school uniform can be seen on the path. Kyoto, Japan

on April 11, 2016Nice one of the autumn leaves at Kinkaku-ji. I've not been to Kinkaku-ji during colour change season. Colour change season is normally a busy time for me work wise, so most of my best colour change shots are from my local Shrines and temples.

on April 10, 2016I really like the look of the red maples between the opening of the tree barks/branches - gives it a painterly background effect!
