Smorgesborg of seaweeds
When I went for a walk at low tide on Terrace Beach in the Pacific Rim National Park, I was amazed at the number of different varieties of sea weeds that had accumulated in the intertidal zone. Aside from showing the incredible biodiversity of the west coast of Vancouver Island, they made a colourful abstract.
I think a lot of the seaweeds in this shot are edible.
