Japanese maples with stone lantern
Scene from the Imperial Palace, Kyoto, Japan with two red maples in peak colour framing a stone lantern. The Japanese are master garden designers and nowhere is this more evident than in the temples, shrines and palaces of Kyoto.

Love the wide angle as well; what an incredible trip !
Love wide angle composition in this one. It just explodes out of the screen. The autumn colour was pretty late at the end of last year, so you were really lucky with the timing of your trip.
Lovely landscaping! Nice colors!
Lately, I've seen and photographed a few a flowers at peak colors. It's so surprising (to me at least) because it is winter and the flowers are supposedly spring blooms!
What a lovely tree, the colors are great and the building is so lovely.
Like the mix of color...
Really like the deep crimson of those red maples.
